I was browsing cases on Amazon. My Meze 99’s had a great hard case. I just rolled with them in my kit bag every day. They are still perfect shape after three years, although the pads were wearing.
Like to find something that would give me the same confidence with these.
Not sure if Geekria is available there, but they are good quality. Alternatively I’d suggest getting any generic case that fits, and get egg shape foam to fill the gaps, it won’t get more secure as this 
On head-fi they shared some good cases like 10 pages from where they are now, I just use geekria or focal case cause Im broke.
And I recommend the burn in as well, I never heard as much change from a burn in as with this pair.
I have no idea on the time already on these. They were an open box and I think they were returned. They will see lots of hours this week.
The Geekeria cases look fine, it is just a matter of finding the right size.
Amazon.ca has Tons of Geekeria cases. I just have to figure out the correct size.
Try M70X, it’s about the same size. Or MSR7, M50X, ESW990H, SR9
This is a great case. I own a slightly older version and it is at least as sturdy as a focal case. Though it might be a bit big, I’m not shure.

Off topic but with you grado fans in here, if you had no grados and little income (xD) would you go for the sr80e or save up for a nicer pair, if feel that if I get the sr80e I wont be getting other grados for a very long time (cause they rock).
Why not both? Get the SR80e and an assortment of cheap pads to try. If you like them, then maybe save up for a Hemp, RS2e, or PS500e (they do sound better than the SR80e). Or maybe your happy with the SR80e and can save some money. The SR80e are fairly affordable so there is little harm in trying.

I have only ever heard three Grado’s so I certainly can’t speak for all. I found the SR325e’s way too bright, but I did like most of the sound they were putting out, so I climbed the tree and ended up at GH2’s.
I am not sure if most of the entry level Grado’s share that sharpness. On the upside they do have tons of dealers and hopefully you could try them out somewhere locally.
I spent most (all) of the day using my new toys. I love the look, the comfort, the isolation and the sound.
I ended the day with my Testing playlist (20 songs). While I really enjoy the bassiness, the mids are pretty good. I adjusted my EQ a bit and everything sounds great. On a few vocals focused songs it sounded like the mids were a bit recessed.
I then flipped over to the Grado’s and the vocals certainly took the front of the stage. But then everything else took a step back.
There is no perfect headphone as we all know. So far, I am very happy with these headphones. A definite step up from my Meze 99’s for an out and about headphone, after I buy a case of course.

SR325e is probably the sharpest out of all Grados 
maybe followed by GS1000e, RS2e?RS1e?
Just came here to update my original review in this thread. I wont edit that one as those impressions were true at the time.
Now I have heard quite a bit more gear and compared them to other closed backs.
I wanna point out for what I paid they’re excellent, and there’s a lot of them on the used market between 400 and 500 dollars, usally in mint condition, for which they are also a great buy.
The good:
Nice wood
Great speed for a dynamic
Nice dynamics and soundstage size
Amazing sub bass rumble
Delightful piano tone
Visceral treble
The bad:
Detail/inst. Separation doesnt match the $650 msrp
Not the cleanest bass tbh
Some instruments/voices sound thin/wonky/artifical or a combination of those
Portability hindered by their build
Good/bad depending on who you ask:
5-7k peak
A little bit of a wall of sound
Recessed lower mids
Shiny but rolled of upper treble
Not gonna lie, the tuning is a bit marcian and I like that, because they are not balanced sounding they do better for unnatural recordings. This is between a w and v shaped tuning, a combination of both.
I have some nightcore recordings were the viscerality of the treble region is just unmatched, also these go really well with edm inspired jpop, the tuning works flawlessly with those mixes.
For all the other genres… Not really: pop, rock, metal, bossa nova, electronic its great but not perfect. Jazz, classical, r&b, vocal, hip hop, it will probably sound wonky in a way or another.
Apart from the electronic japanese stuff, pet shop boys - and the like - is also really good on these. For the rest, not the best, but still a solid product specially when bought used.
I just find it WAY too V-shaped. Depends on the music that you like, I guess.
I really really like v-shapes for jazz music, but I think this particular pair doesnt suit it.
Vocal jazz sometimes sounds boomy, specially with instruments like trombone, tuba… The singer might sound tinny depending on its pitch.
Modern jazz gets the wonky problem, the band feels not properly mixed.
I wonder if you tried the jvc sw01, or what do you use for jazz
