Well⌠looks like today will be interesting here.
A competitor was delivering heavy fuel to a ship, but it turns out there was a rupture somewhere. Just at that point one our barges arrived in the dock (Barge with the blue rims you see sailing). Now everyone is stuck there until everything is cleaned.
As if oil isnât expensive enough these daysâŚ

Just got an update. Situation is looking pretty bad.

The situation seems serious. The MSC Denmark has leaked a significant quantity of oil into the Deurganck Dock.
Despite the response efforts of Brabo Cleaning Company and other parties, including a vessel deployed by Rijkswaterstaat, the oil has spread over a wide area. Multiple vessels and tugboats have been contaminated, and the shoreline has also been affected.
Consequently, the Scheldt River remains closed to all traffic for the time being, from buoy 80 up to and beyond the Deurganck Dock (inbound port direction).
At present, a coastguard aircraft is conducting an aerial assessment of the situation. Based on these observations, the Joint Nautical Authority will determine further measures.
It is anticipated that the situation will not be resolved today, and access to the Deurganck Dock will in any case remain suspended.
We will keep you informed as soon as further information becomes available.

So this means that a service tank of the containership has ruptured. That is wild, that should be a doublehulled tank.
2nd largest port in Europe btw, one of the largest containerterminals on the planet that functions as the prime European hub for the largest containerliner (MSC) in the world.
The Scheldt river is also home to a certain species of eel that cannot be bred in captivity, and is considered a very rare delicacy. (really popular in Japan and China. Wildly expensive too)

I invested in a couple companies that clean oil out of the straight of Hormuz like 2 weeks ago thinking if any action happens, Iâm in the clear, if nothing happens, Iâm out nothing. Iâm up fucking HARD. Lol.

from collision? marine life? Erosion of metal? i think maintenance can spot thatâŚ

My guess is that the tank was empty, but already ruptured when it arrived.
Start filling it up, and this happens.
Doesnât explain how it got ruptured though⌠Collision is possible, but then that should be known.

Nick is awesome, I follow him from a while ago and what he did to uncover all these frauds while risking his life is crazy work. Millions and millions of tax payer money going to fraudulent fake businesses opened by immigrants which he revealed publicly and confronted them and that fucker Newsome and whole Minneapolis gov is saying shit about him⌠Many places in USA are beyond the point of comeback to a normal functioning without violence and overturning everything and restarting everything from point zero.

Yea it is pretty real, I am watching him on Instagram from almost the start and itâs just crazy how much bashing he got from the start. He had his time in the white house also giving overview on what he found and everything in front of Trump multiple times. I also thought it might be fake, not all but somewhat. That he is making some hoax and selling some story which is sponsored by someone for getting some narrative in place. But all got very real soon.
