Just happened is never in the books in NBA these days hahaha. Lakers said like two years ago prior the trade that their interest is in making Luka their next franchise face and it happened. I won’t be surprised if Jokic or Giannis this summer goes to LA as well and the primadona LBJ is out. He is for years on roids and all kinds of treatments but he was the face of NBA or their golden duck. Never liked him, not much respect either since I am Kobe and LAL fan since I know for NBA. Dallas with these moves easily becomes the worst franchise ever, I can’t belive they are so retarded and I can belive a bit that it was on purpose with all the casino and stuff talk for relocating them and purposely destroying them after management changed. From a team that had one of the best players in the NBA to a team that now will be 10 years in rebuild…
Never played the game a lot but I know the gist and had some time on it. The series is definitely well written and executed. Can’t wait today after work if I manage to squeeze some free time to watch the finale.
I tried playing the game but wasn’t taken with it. I had no intention of watching the series but my son, who’s a big gamer and very sceptical about TV and film adaptations, badgered me into watching it. And boy was he right! I’ve loved every minute of it. Fantastic show, bring on series 3.
I’ve played all the games. And this is truly one of the very few shows that actually manages to capture the athmosphere of the games. (Which is incredibly hard)
I was actually a bit scared for the 2nd season, because it takes place in the setting of the most beloved game in the series. And because this show happens after all the existing games, there was alot of scrutiny on how they would handle the different endings you could take in the Fallout New Vegas game. Especially the fate of Mr. House.
They did well, things are ambigious enough so that none of the possible endings suddenly becomes non-canon. (It has been confirmed that this show is canon to the entire game lore).
I’m really happy with the show.
(Also, the show is an absolute treasure trove of little nods to those who played the games. They knew what they were doing with that.)
The nod to 41 sec into the game-intro almost had me jumping out of my couch.

Same here but as far as I can tell, the original isometric ones were better than the current FP(S) games (they just look too generic IMO and the OGs had a quirkiness to them that fit the theme and everything).

I can imagine various reasons as to why that might be true. Having trouble making ends meet, seeing it as a world different from their own (‘the rich and famous’), not giving a damn about others in general, having been numbed by the onslaught of negative news… We had something similar over here years back. Our IRS treated everyone who made a mistake applying for specific (child/care related) benefits as a fraud. Destroyed thousands of lives, even the courts went along because ‘they couldn’t do anything about it because it’s the law’ (which turned out to be BS after the fact). Mark Rutte, who was prime minister for most of that time, ultimately resigned (along with his cabinet) but still wanted to get re-elected and basically said ‘it’s up to the voter to decide if I did anything wrong.’ Guess what? Voters didn’t care and he breezed back into office…

This is wild. I’ve seen this unfold before my eyes. I was there in the early days as a means to connect over anime, games and memes (they weren’t even called memes then). 4chan, YTMND and Something Awful were the 3 main sites I visited in the early 2000’s.
But in the 2010’s the atmosphere of 4chan changed, much of the irony was gone. It felt like the site was being taken over by degenerates who meant what they posted. It sucked the fun out of it.

I make iems, I’m not trying to sell stuff here or anywhere else. I just got questions for HBB sir, I heard that you don’t do dms no more.
I got a client, like you he’s spending big bucks on the build I’m doing. I got special tech in it. I’ve now come to a point in the build where I’ve got a problem, a tuner philosophy problem.
The guy has Caiyin n8ii for a DAP, he’s got pretty good desktop dacamps as well. I don’t know if his Caiyin is his portable source or something smaller like a dongle.
A past incident, one of my builds tripped this guy’s amp. It works but I had to re-think the way i approach crossovers. I’ve been able to develop 2 crossover tech that I can try and patent cuz of this. (never used in iems, unless a no name diy guy did it before me and i didn’t know) I’m not an engineer, so this is a personal achievement for me. I’m doing this build to compensate him, I can’t talk to him after the amp incident. this will be a gift to him.
Option A) tune for the highest efficiency. I’m using specs of an uncapped a306, 1v 50ma ceiling. I’ve managed to calculate a crossover around that.
Option B) Option A limits one more area i can focus on, but that’ll draw massive current if i try to consider that in my crossover. So I will have to increase voltage and current ceiling further. i would potentially be using Fiio M21 as a test bench for this, so will build crossover based on that. The new bench allows me to consider Damping Factor. I’m not sure if any iem reviewer has considered that. Or has heard any differences between iems and came across that part of tuning which could affect their opinion. Damping factor can allow me to speed up Bass on a large dd to the level of planar and Bas, and I have an another DD to have a natural damping factor for low extended bass, Basically a Dual transient attack. Fast attack and slow decay. I could also speed up the BAs and planar that’s following up in the higher frequencies.
- Slow DD assume DF1
- Light Speed Bass DD Assume DF25
- woofer DF35
- upper mid DF40
over and on, A progressive increase in speed.
the Best part is I got a low pass tech that can allow me to run DDs freely without mesh. The other drivers are still safe as their diaphragm won’t be affected due to amp grip on them and their naturally higher DF, meaning I could go full on unrestrained Bass violence on the ear.
The only cost is… More Power….
What is the right path here?
follow my initial Philosophy to extract every last milliamp and milliohms, or make the sound a tiny bit more unique cos the power is within reach, based on the guy’s collection of DAP and amps.
Would like to know what’s your daily carry for a good power on the go as well.

Edit: Because of the trip incident, i’m adding Fuse and diode in my custom cable so the guy never gets hurt again, i don’t have to service the iem, just jack to get it going, cuz custom connectors also reverse compatible with the standard 0.78mm connectors.
Also the fuse and diode combo to make it work on any amp, one responds to current, the other, Voltage, you could have a diablo, or a zen can, one can fast kill, the other is a slow burn, gotta see both.
