22 is awesome. Audio has the same size (I think) on their RS6 wagon and it adds to the car’s aggressive demeanour.

Good to see Sony hasn’t abandoned IEMs (so there’s hope for a 1ZR successor yet).

that one’s a 5mm driver iirc
Edit: I dont think an ier z1r successor can be expected anytime soon

5mm :smiling_face_with_tear:

The Blon mini had that iirc and despite bassy tuning it had no real bass :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

You need a bass compensation boost with such a small dd…

Some shenanigans

Disgusting.

However!

Top Pro sounds plastic and weird in treble. I can tell there was a lot of work put into asteria’s treble implementation. Bass is not as rumbly and ‘big’, just fast and tight.

Baker is damn close. Just slightly watered down version on techs. Not as enveloping and confident.

After tuning Baker into something closer to asteria, getting rid of planar treble peak and loading up some healthy 3db bassboost it has become my new favorite casual set. Very strong ability to resolve sharp punchy bass hits, DD sounds much more rounded in comparison. Treble timbre is fixed. I am most floored by the absence of distortion on Baker: high gain solo piano and and it actually sounds loud, bity, confident and completely clean. All 3k+ sets I’ve tried would rattle and make resonating sounds when loud 800-1000hz notes hit. And BA driver sets were the worst at it, yet Baker just cooks through. Metal build and nice cable are chef’s kiss.

100$ 711 clone from aliexpress is a cheat code in this hobby.

Well, PT is on. I am 2 sessions in, and I can feel a huge difference in my overall range of motion in the shoulder. The best part of all is that I am doing therapy IN A POOL! Twice a week I do 1 hour in the gym and then 1.5 hours in the pool, and after that I get to swim if I can handle it. Therapy in a pool is the fucking best. You can push extra hard and not get killed. My therapist is a great lady. She pushes me hard and I like that, but she knows when I am suffering and lets me relax in between sets when I need it. I’m tellin ya, this shit is great. I didn’t want to get out of the pool! Then I got to relax in a hot tub for a while and cool off that way. As of right now, my arm is pretty dead. Let’s see how long it takes to recover.

I am much more optimistic that I won’t need surgery now. I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself, but I am encouraged to see the progress. We’ll see how things go in the coming weeks. Now if I can just get some fucking sleep. That nut is a bit more tough to crack. Oh well, I’ll get there.

Glad you are doing better. Just gotta find that elusive sleep :head_shaking_horizontally:

How long has it been since he got injured? Five, six years? That’ll be an uphill battle for him for sure. He used to be entertaining as a smack talker but now he just sounds bitter to me for some reason.

He’s a brilliant fighter. He surgically demolished Alvarez
He got rich, lost focus, got slept again and again
Kinda llllike Tyson who I also love.

6 years off and being old is 2 strikes. Max just needs to Hawaiian on him 2nd half of the second round and its over

Max got the shit kicked out of him by Connor 13 years ago.
As if he needed any motivation

The way he defeated Aldo was also quite the feat IMO. Not like the Alvarez fight but the combination of the trash talking build up and the way that carried over to the fight (that’s at least how it’s explained in most cases) made it quite impressive as well.

Should be all he needs for sure.

Yeah I got heatstroke yesterday. Went down pretty hard. 9 miles in 85F with UV index of 12 is enough to nearly murder me.

Agree but in that time he’s not been beat up, injured or worn out by the daily training grind. Connor if 100% focused, fit and fight ready is a very dangerous man.
