Yup. He made a legitimate bass head audiophile set with a huge high quality DD and got pressured by orders and bailed. I coulda plugged him into Linsoul and he would have made less per set but production would not have been his stress anymore
Absolutely unbelievable. Missed opportunity for sure (and a dick move to run off with someone elseâs money). I donât suppose thereâs a prototype that could be reverse engineered? Given what he did, that could be seen as compensation / damages.
Linsoul wouldnât touch something that wasnât signed and agreed to. The Pirates are a generation older and they would have copied it in a second and there was no Social media to complain on
Shenzen was a wild place but that Wild West stuff is long goneâ
Edit: yeah that guy blew it I would have gotten over it. He played himself out of a lot of money which he didnât have a lot of. Hence him turning into a thief
As a private individual thatâs almost impossible as you can purchase your E-ticket under any name from any email address, multiple tickets too. So unless youâre infamous/famous and easily recognisable youâre in. FFS this isnât boarding a plane the only thing theyâre interested in is your E-Ticket no passport or photo ID needed.
I guess if youâre press, trade or want to exhibit then that would be a whole different thing.
WTF is a professional listener?..A shrink, therapist or maybe a piano tuner even but the sad facts surrounding this hobby he/she is probably just a professional shill, company hoe or more likely a straight up arsehole.
Thatâs probably the best choice here (given the circumstances, I wonât say right) but, at the same time, that pirate mentality would have been morally acceptable here. If he has even a shred of decency left, heâll sign over the IP and have the proceeds go to animal charity to make amends but people who do this sort of thing wonât of course.
How many units did he owe tho? I think he should just complete what he owes and leave it at that. If thereâs interest for that set, thatâs a later discussion? Then again, i donât think thatâs ever happening.
thatâs like 1.3 Storm⌠for 7 people.
Too bad he turned out to be a thief
(not really a great thing, but Iâm a bit surprised it wasnât as unreasonable as recent and rather ridiculuous TOTL iem prices)
My IEM has one of the thinnest ABS type plasic shells, at 0.6mm (yes its still tough as hell). Iâve noticed over and over that the IEM will vibrate hard around 60-80hz and I always get some wiggly squigglies there when measuring. Indeed I can feel it as well. Who needs a BCD? not me anyhow
Bro im working on it with everything I got. I canât say a lot since at this point these are fully custom ultra-tesla (bs term i just made up) 11mm DDs. That graph is one driver. The bass is so strong and im âcontainingâ in into the shell, it makes it tickle a little. I also like how it hits way lower than your standard BCD.
Which guy that complained? ( I never accepted money from anyone). Anomaly is done. I cannot source more drivers, can only make 40ish sets and that is the end of that. I wish I had better news, I tried my best. At some point the choice was to just use a different driver that I can actually control. This has been accomplished.
Just understand I will never put out a supbar IEM with shitty X factor.
He just wanted to vent and drag Listener and Headphones dot com and Mark.
He gave no specifics about alternative lifestyle Discord has rules and can ban anyone at anytime for no reason. Without context it appears to be someone trashing others with 1/2 the plot of the story.
Just keep it to yourself if you wanna play hide the sausage with context or go post it on Twitter/X
