Yeeeee-Haww! We have another hot one here today.
This shit is like this every day now. August is going to be brutal. We got out this morning early and did the front and side yards. Got out at 0800 and got in at 1130, so about 3.5 hours. That is the reasonable limit I can do before I start feeling kinda weird. By then it was already 95. The back yard will have to wait for another day.

Iâve promised myself a pair of Electrostatic headphones ever since I listened to a pair of Stax Lambdas, back in the distant past. They have always been just outside my justifiable budget range. Then along comes a new kid on the block, the Hongshu Audio EH 1 Audio System. Headphones and amp for ÂŁ519.
I simply couldnât help myself. Zero restraint.
Iâll have to sell my Pink Triangle PT1 turntable to cover the cost, but not to worry, I need to let go of a rake of HiFi gear that is just gathering dust. Itâs my 63rd birthday at the end of the month, so itâs my birthday present to me. I should get a few years of good listening to them before my hearing degrades past the point of my being able to appreciate them.

Aww man that PT1 was a fab deck. I had the LPT then a PT Too back in the day, still miss it. Was the best sounding deck ive ever heard, just a shame the build quality and support was pants.
Ended up trading it for a Gyrodek.
Love an Estat. I have an old pair SR202 Zeos Pad modded and a pair of SR007 Mkii.

Just wanted to write here as I saw the Loric availabe and saw that is released week or two ago and in the same time I opened the video as just got back from work. Glad I hit with both recs on Cai Wenji and Kunten (although I donât own the Kunten).

I wanted to rec the Kunten a while back as well, but i think theyâre from KZ also there were 1~2 minor changes iirc
so i didnt rec it
edit: essentially this problem falls under tip rolling
i wouldnât go as far as to say thereâs a guarantee of no more further changes that could happen.

Btw I just saw GK has already released a successor of the Kunten lol, I mean expected from KZ/GK brand but still. It has the same DD as the Kunten and micro planar tweeter plus. It is called Streak.

I havenât seen what KZ has been upto, last I had interest was in the KZ vibe x.
It wasnât QC, last i remember discussing with a friend in the hobby, it was the false marketing of multi driver when it was just a single DD. And also the silent revisions that happened across collabs which happened to you also iirc
Moondrop had silent revisions? I know the QC issues but I havenât heard of silent revisions particularly
Moondrop got a ton of weebs rockin the stuff so I donât think itâs based on recs other than neutral or bright leaning audiophiles recommending them, (based on recs Iâve seen in my FYP I see vids on B2, B3, latest dusk and Hexas) rarely seen a Pure or other neutral warmer leaning MD recs for some reason

My suggestion towards the falling plates, get a better glue. 64 audio I havenât heard any QC on faceplates falling. They got the magic stuff.
Also plunge audio got some amazing design going. Survived drop from top of Ferris wheel
