Bad Guy Good Audio 4/4 (The Final Chapter)

Yeah, that was hard to watch. Shouldn’t have happened. I’ll leave it there.

Meanwhile, I’m gonna elevate things a bit with something I have just stumbled upon. Cool as hell! The power of music…

Bought these on a whim. Tuned for classical music. They have a crazy run in schedule.

They have a fixed cable. Brand new, sealed set. They were dirt cheap compared to their original retail price. Odd little things.

They aren’t related to Chord Electronics, are they?
chord mojo, poly etc that company?
now that I think about it, their branding would be completely different

I like them cable de-stress holders tho. They look real good, and the wood too.

That’s always a red flag, if they were that popular or decent sounding then they wouldn’t be reduced to a fraction of their RRP and the fact they mention run-in times is laughable.

I’ve read a few reviews of their sound and measurements , I pity your ears given the treble response

It’s a lovely looking box though, that would be very cool repurposed into a storage box with compartments for iems.

Having seen several reviews when they originally came out, I was interested, but not at the price of £180. They supposedly have a variety of tunings, nine I believe, and the set I have is classically tuned. I will run them in according to the run-in system supplied. I shall post a review of them after I have run them in and given them a sufficient listening time. If I don’t like them, I will give them away.

Definitely not Chord.

Well, they certainly look the part. And they received the prestigious DIAPASON D’OR “Outstanding Product of the year” award. So there is that. I hope they work out for you. If not, well, it was worth a shot.

£40 on eBay. If they turn out to be OK then OK. At my age, excesive treble is not really an issue, I t can help sometimes, even for a lifelong treble sensitive person. My hearing is excellent for my age, and if I dont like them I will simply give them away. Watch this space for a giveaway bonanza!

OK, this is starting to get silly!

No relief in sight for the next 3-4 days at least. August has been a real write-off. Yikes…

Oh well, I will beat the heat with a cold beer and some hot Jazz!

It’s same here, after some cooldown after the shit storm we had, we are now in second week where it’s 36-41 degrees permanently during the day. It’s like 30 already at 10 in the morning. End of July and up until mid late August always is hellish hot.

You could check stuff

Then again i wouldn’t completely trust Ai, but sources in the answer do confirm it

No its not, It’s a conflation of separate facts that are manipulated to inflame a desired narrative, and it appears to be successful if its being reposted.

The image has been doing the rounds for a while and was originally traced to a Russian bot farm then spread online through anti-immigration social media accounts in this country then amplified even further by far right groups and right wing agitators from around the world seeking to inflame tensions for their own political and financial gain.

It has been getting a lot of traffic and posts on twitter at the moment (go…elon…, ) no doubt enriching the bot farm accounts, reposted by ill-informed individuals who have no desire for facts, they merely desire bile enraging images pumped into their feeds.

Here are the two run in methods for the Chord and Major IEMs.

The second method has a QR code which takes you to their website. Simply plug you IEMs in, press start, and an hour later they are supposedly run in.

I am currently listening to A Paean for Wilson by The Durutti Column and they are doing a very good job. Not overly bright. I shall listen to some choral and orchestral music next. I’ve tried a few tips and I seem to prefer the Moondrop Spring tips (yes, something Moondrop actually got right).

I can agree with break in for the speakers but run in for iems is still a hoax for me
