These are two headphones that I like for bass. It’s not crazy but pretty strong. The Fluxion is about 1000 on alliexpress right now, and it is reps by Earphone Archive (one of his top with a rank of A+). You need to get a good seal, but when you do you get nice bass.
.@wayne I really want to try the Drapnier, I regret not trying it earlier when given a chance but was feeling poorly. I just want a headphone with a reasonable amount of subbass, and I think it’s hard to find.

It wasn’t a direct recommendation for the verum 2 headphone at all, I was just making my point by highlighting the very low distortion at 114db as very suitable for boosting the low end using peq.
Personally I own the Sennheiser HD490 and am very happy with it.

Trust me, @Ohmboy was just trying to get ahead of The Moral Outrage Police before someone comes in and goes ACKSHUALLY about the creator’s past statements to derail discussion of the set itself. You did the right thing by just highlighting the headphone, I enjoy my pair but I don’t feel the need to EQ the bass at all with the normal Ported pads. Anyone that’s upset by the guy behind the brand can always scoop a used pair, they pop up pretty frequently at places like r/AVexchange.

Today here is lovely day and I am enjoying my other hobby which is coffee. I am for 10 years in coffee and home barista, lotta similarities in this hobby going down the rabbit hole as in audio. The place where I usually go to chill with cup of good coffee celebrate birthday so there is a small party.

Well, here we go. Big storm has hit right on schedule. Glad we got set up for it beforehand. Now I can just sit back and watch it rage while listening to my trusty P7s. Haven’t listened to this set in a long time. I have always really liked it. I know there are some that want to shit on it, but I don’t care. They pair well with the SH-9 and sound good to me.
