so officially this Headphone is the best to recommend under 200/300 bucks?

Oh…no idea.
Just started listening.
It’s a clear upgrade to that Beyer in bass, res, accessories.

Listening from M27 and Topping Desktop

I do feel that there’s vital info missing concerning what is actually meant by ‘adapted’ etc. The really telling part IMO here is how the human brain('s building blocks) does something that computers cannot copy, only approximate, and costs way more to accomplish.

Definitely a cool colour.

Dude, over here, they are removing the competitive element from kids’ sports. More and more games are played without keeping track of the score  They are hell bent on fostering mediocrity and even penalising those who want to succeed.

Edit: same in the education system. It used to be that schools would be awarded the title of ‘excellent’ if their pupils would perform above average. The department of education abolished that to avoid painting the other schools in a negative light (instead of stimulating them to better their performance). In ten to twenty years’ time we’ll be relegated to second world status economically…

For the price they’re really good, I was just seeing a lot of praise for them that seemed a little exaggerated maybe due to that low price. I do think they’re decent enough headphones and you can’t really do any better at the price without EQ for a lot of reasons, I just kinda thought they were missing that planar tightness and detail. I really like the fit and comfort and compared to all the Beyers, they’re way better tuned and a lot better control and separation. I’d definitely still give the imaging advantage to Beyers though, something about the JT7s seems a little vague with imaging at times to me. That was one of the sets I wanted to measure at different volumes because of the stretchy diaphragm…I should probably do that.

you just need to take a look at what was the fitness test and what was considered fit back in the 90s compared to today. You’ll see the huge gap we have across generations.

Thank you all! Can’t wait to actually meet junior

I just saw another on ear headphones in the budget range, not hyped or anything just relatively new as I understood. Sennheiser HD400U. They are like 80-90€ so similar with the Beyer. Sennheiser is saying that the headphones are perfect entry for new audiophiles

This is the HD400U.
Apparently U stands for USB-C

Dunno if they come with 3.5/4.4 ended cables

Dunno why I can’t post images from my phone but on the website it says that is removable and can opt for another type of cable.

So far everything sounds better, timbre, instrument separation bass is great for the price in my limited experience.
It’s not a res beast and reminds me of a couple other of the cheaper Hifiman 5 years ago ish

Comfort is great

If someone said these were a benchmark in their bracket I could see it whereas the Beyer was 2017 all over again. Muffled closed back

It would be nice to have a critical and unbiased take on it.

Doubt

That cut doesn’t look good.

Edit: cheap and got good reviews, there’s possibility of separated bass from graphs, your call.

I know it’s somewhat of a meme amongst programmers to run the game ‘Doom’ on the most unlikely devices, but this is taking it a bit too far imho.
