By all indications a sidegrade to KXXs (I’ll chime in when I get over blockade)

Throwing shit on the wall is not an exclusive KZ or Chifi technique…all companies are contorting themselves to simultaneously pat themselves on the back and give BJ’s to their hand picked minions.

For me, the Evo will be the ultimate and last test.
Considering how they are praised by a large number of people who tested them, if I find myself very far off, then trust will be gone.
Cause as much as it is a subjective hobby, when we talk about a good set, there is a consensus. Even if your Tier list will vary.

I hope you like them. They are not cheap. :notes:

Does anybody have quality jack adapters that they rec? My newly acquired timeless has a very stubborn mmcx connection that does not want to disconnect even with a removal tool. I’m more concerned over the iem housing breaking than the actual mmcx so I’m stuck using the stock cable for now. I got the 2.5mm as that’s what my k3 has. I’d like a 2.5 to 3.5 and a 4.4 to 2.5.

On a side note; with how detailed the timeless can be, can they expose poor recording quality in tracks? On some songs I feel like I’m hearing artifacts that I couldn’t normally hear.

I confirm they are nice, it can take time for them to ship.

Big fan of these; usually toss one in the case of whatever 2.5mm I’m using just in case I want to use a non-balanced source. Cheap, compact, solid.

I just ordered two geekria for a similar issue on the timeless. Mmcx issues with dunu cables and sound cutting out on one side. :frowning: ruling out the cables first.

My DUNU SA6 came with a bad cable :no_mouth:

Gonna try the stock cable but I ordered a 4.4 timeless and had plans to have the ifi go blu here. Canceled that and have no 4.4mm amp. So converter to 2.5 it is.

@hawaiibadboy I tried Empire Ears Legend X SE and was extremely disappointed… To date, the YTAO flagship is the most enjoyable iem I’ve heard… for $200 and it blows EE for less than 1/10th of the price.

I highly recommend trying them. I actually ended up buying two of them 16335941222865938654018222655769|375x500

Not to mention the horrible driver flex of EE…
Sorry for being negative but their iems is way overated.
