It’s the same guy it seems
Super interested. Will you do a review?
Bonus, the name alone is great because I come from Provence, i hope it sounds good.
It would be interesting to see how the two sets differ in terms of sound with identical frequency graphs. The driver technology will make some changes but it was amazing that he was able to graph that much alike.
Yeah, I re-did the 8+1 graph again and it just is identical to the Lokahi tuning. Have not really started listening yet. Just a little bit
Ety. = Emphasising nothing in the fundamentals
DUNU = Absolutely blowing out bass lines, drums, vocals
Sound science FTW
Not nuts at all. Use foam tips that come with it and enjoy. It is pro tuning
Unlike Dunu’s mess.
Excuse me a sec
I’d like to thank the hand picked reviewers who DUNU chose who refused to flip the gravy train and come straight out and say that is poor tuning.
None had the guts to say “Man…wtf?”
BLON 03 gets poo poo’d by folks who often cite an exagerated Bass profile as an issue.
Where is your fucking critical lens now?
Is it broke?
Imagine getting picky on a $30 set and giving a $200 set a soft pass cuz you know the Dunu guy
If sales metrics are a good gauge (and they are) the scheme team is not really effective
RE: Etymotic
I do find the lack of emphasis in low end to be un natural but aside from that it is an excellent and accurate set.
That reviewer you quoted sounds like a smart person with good ears
For a true er4xr upgrade, you actually go to a lower budget and get yourself an er2xr.
KATO…kinda bright and light on bass
how does Unique Melody 3DT plays with your library @hawaiibadboy ? how does it fare against the Teas?
3DT has a bit too much energy on cymbal crashes and guitar and vocals. A mod looks like it takes care of that but I never mod. Love U.M. but that was not for me. the TEA…is for me
(KATO) Light bass? It’s Fun/punch sounding signature? If not, not for me.
It is a more clear illumination. That’s a nice thing for the money but it’s not punchy or anything of the sort.
Mids> Treb> Bass
In order of notability
Interesting. Super Review thought the mids were recessed on Kato.
That is really interesting, what songs did he use to come to that conclusion?
