I’m not anti KZ. 
They think i am though. i was pretty nice to both sets.
ESX is not quite basshead but not nearly balanced either so it’s in a kinda death zone or library specific

They really did step in it, on something that had your name on it ( as well as Crin’s ), so being still annoyed at them, would be totally reasonable.
I would guess that KZ didn’t want to have that reminder at every release, meaning every two weeks, that they not only made a handful of defective IEMs, and then were pretty awful about how they handled it.
I have to say Kbear 07 eartips is truly a game changer to my Elixir (driven by Fiio KA3). My complaints about the upper mids are all gone. Almost endgame tuning for me, just need a few refinements.
I think my next set will absolutely be a tribrid, I need those ESTs

Received the 7htz Dioko today. They look good, but I was underwhelmed with the sound. It may be me, but I needed to increase the volume on the amp to get a decent sound volume. And these were powered with a Topping A90. The previous set I was using was the LZ A7, and they were fine.

There’s something wrong with the ESX stock cable; switch it out for anything else and they sound markedly better - first set I’ve noticed that with.

I was curious about this one. Thanks for the Tea2 comparisons, since that was what I was thinking when I saw the graphs. Given the price difference that is a pretty impressive showing for them.
