If they have died and you’re looking to replace them I have a set that’s barely used, just a bit too bright and fatiguing for my tastes (same for my Z12s). I’m in the UK.
No…full price
Like STORM
GRAND MAESTRO
RN6
CANPUR (slight discount actually)
Most stuff over 500 is my pocket money just like everyone else which is why I get very pissed
Hades. Looks dope, has a nice cable and nice face plate! Very promosing*.
Is that the one Chris edited on me…I don’t know who I’m asking
Is that the one…can’t remember…you were too quick on the edit
Price…graph
Dual 9s…
$49
It’s strictly for Bassheads
tried several amounts of midbass to get an actual vibing in the ear for Hip hop/EDM…and it takes this much.
I did Harman variants to death already
1/DD is a woofer
1/DD is upper mid treble
dat graph
whoooooo!
I think it is the 1st Basshead collab…midbass is super really important.
I’ll share the literal growth of the bass as it went from more to I can feel it now.
I came in hobby looking for basshead stuff (headphones) and have never done a set for my own roots
I used Falcon PRO which is 1 DD (A/B output corrected) and went Autistic with library.
Female vocals get worked …same as Falcon pro but worse
The rhythm section is up on both and thats the slam below 20Hz does not really matter unless you listen to IASCA test tracks or 808 drop compilations
Love the insight and the inside view on the process
Good price, too
Thanks. Will do. I originally did the double filter mod, so confident on how to do it.
Just leaving for a day to dry - as @Rikudou_Goku suggested.
Thanks.
We should try and create a small BGGAR UK list for easier trades etc. I’m not a fan of AliX, so always open to improving my collecting options over here.
That looks amazingg. I will probably have to pick one of those up. Loved the original QKZ × HBB, but I will never say no to more midbass.
I still want to hear something TOTL with that kind of tuning. Maybe FiR Xenon, but I was put off by HBB’s negative review. I wonder if this new QKZ will have anything in common with that (but a budget version, obviously). The bass response looks kinda similar. Little bit less of a 200–300Hz bump maybe.
Sorry I put you off…kinda…
For that money I wasn’t going for that and other reviews seemed to downplay the bass to avoid the basshead set label. I get that some companies dont want that label despite the whole hobby being re invigorated by basshead beat babies. Talked to an Admin on Headfi in 2014 and he said the metrics of that site soared after Beats by Dre dropped year prior v.s. year later was enormous.
Lolllll, Beats By Dre saved the audiophile community
Really Not A Review gave Xe6 a positive review, specifically focusing on the basshead appeal. He’s got a good ear for bass, so it’s put that set back in my mind again I’m gonna have to demo that and the Rn6 side-by-side to see whose taste is closer to mine.
But Hades in the meantime.
Guessing there’s even bigger possibilities for condensation problems with double filters. I think about this every time I use IEM’s in the cold weather.
Well then it’s strictly for me…besides I spent twice that on sushi last night and I went easy
If the
ever gets here…nice triple threat with the 2.5
I’ll tell ya…there better be a handwritten apology from Ben and Aaron in that FF box…
You hear me…
