Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

Glad it arrived…finally.
It beat the 61T but that set will be on its way. :+1: .

Yup, a tribrid with all branded drivers.
No hidden trust us bro “custom” drivers to be found

Love 64 part of the bias is from exemplary customer service done before anyone knew who I was.
Not everything the make is great but I give most of em a shot and they make the only actual isobaric set in the hobby.
The resonator has been done properly as well. Very clever way to sculpt the treb which is the chaos zone for most planar IMO/my ears

I just read a reviewer…
calling another reviewer a “liar and a POS”…
in ANOTHER reviewers comment section.

This hobby is about as fucked as I have ever seen.
Sometimes the best option is to shut the fuck up.
EDIT, yeah, when you let that toxic shit in your comment section you are laying out the welcome mat to folks who want to watch the world burn.
They don’t buy shit
They have issues at home
Likely broke ( part of the fuel powering the asshole engine)
Use the bbbblock button and do actual buyers who want info and not cess sludge a favor.

Deuce movement alert!
…of further processing.

Meanwhile, I’ve been enjoying Tea Pro last few days. Favorite stock tuning of all time…so far.
It’s what I’d hoped the Oracle Mk3 would sound like, I think it was the more elevated 6k and 12 k on the Oracle that wouldn’t work for me, and lack of bass.
Metal housing, nice cable…that actually stays put as opposed to Oracles cable.
Surprised just how much bass the Teas are capable of, especially when thinking of the graphs.
More than any others I can think of, the Teas are chameleon like with tip rolling.
Azla Crystal just puts the grin on, but it’s a close listen with forward bass, some folks aren’t gonna dig. Divinus Velvet wide bore pulls you back just a bit with a brighter signature and less bass overall, slightly recessed vocals…both sounds fit well into my world, with the latter shining on classical and overly thick/ heavy tracks.

Bo has been warning us for years now. But nobody listens.

People need to step back outside and touch some grass. (or smoke it)

Same here, from all my IEM’s, this one—stock cable, stock ear tips, stock tuning The best I heard so far. The only IEM that I would not touch the EQ for. And this set plays everything from my library so good. I am impressed…and for that I blame HBB…bought the set after his video released about TEA PRO.

Best regards

Is this lore within the last week or older?

Sorry and not sorry. That is a walkaway set. I could see someone stopping at Tea Pro and then the debate is not just diminishing returns but any?
I’ll spend more but pushing folks over the $500 range with confidence is a deadass sucker move.
I could stop at Tea Pro
I coulda stopped at BLON 03 and been happy.
No :billed_cap:

Don’t know that I can.
I’m looking forward to the set with this tuning but stellar drivers throughout… a bit more refinement, scaling and staging, will listen to suggestions under 3k.
Jupiter is still the best thing ever to tickle me ears, but needed PEQ to get this tuning, which at that level of investment I chose to let em go.
I think that set has a perfect storm of drivers, tried to get ZiiGaat to retune but to no avail.

My fav iem of all time. I prefer It over the waners, 7hz zero, hola/gate etc. There’s something special to the oppoty.

Sorry for derailing

That’s not a derail. I legit think 10’s of thousands of folks stopped right at BLON 03. $30 is a lot of money in a large part of the world and they chose it.
They sold an enormous amount of sets only beaten by 2 sets of older KZ that produced over a Million.
BLON 03 sold well into the 6 figure range. 7 if you believe some.

Mike Bruce is a huge fan of that set. I expected as much. After all the stuff and hot takes are put aside , he and I both love EJ07 original and Jupiter.
The Kiwi collab is a direct result of the Jupiter and what went wrong (price)

EJO7 Original SLAPS. It will never not slap. Specialized high-volume tuning for sure, but at high volume I have not heard anything, evena at double its price, that can touch it for what it does best - endless 3D staging.

Agree. It’s a set that has made a lot of folks quit and say thanks in my YT comment section. Always a story around music and memories. I think I did a vid about that phenomenon.
No other set has done that. Happened a buncha times where folks took the time to write about the set, music and their departure.

That’s kinda the best rec a set could ever get

Niceee! Enjoy it man! What songs did you chose to christen the set with? am just looking to compile a solid list of songs from yall until i get mine

My usual first song is typically Weight of Dreams by Greta van Fleet ( it does nearly everything in one song, but it has some serious sub-bass rumble ). Then I usually checkout some mix of Foreplay / Long Time by Boston, Spirit of Radio by Rush, The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, The Core by Eric Clapton, Ramble On by Led Zeppelin, and Reelin’ in the Years by Steely Dan. I always think you should pick stuff you are really familiar with, mostly so you know if it sounds correct to your ears.
