Make sure you put the youtube link alone in a new line, after you paste just give the HFG a few seconds to figure out the embed and you’re good to go.

A massive one. Usually Singapore post gets it delivered before time. At least this has been the case with me. Assuming you should get yours by tomorrow hopefully. Totally worth the wait!!

You are absolutely spot on! I am truly enjoying them with my Hiby R4. Cant wait to try them on with the FiiO Btr15 (which I ordered last week).

Everything on it just slaps. The balance between the subass and treble is phenomenal!!!

Has any of you had such a good seal on tips that it created a vacuum? Was trying Spintfit CP155 and if I had to guess I had a close call and almost popped my ear drums. It’s was quite a sharp pain and I slowly backed off and pulled on my ear to release the vacuum and took the iems out. No iems for a few days and then I’ll see how it feels.

Not from any specific tip but this is something that often can happen with ventless iems (BA only for example) and is one big reason I hate them (and why they are dangerous).

Wish you luck.

What iem was this with?

it was the Truthear Zero Red

Cannot see a vent on the inside so yeah…

(looks there is one near the connector?)

I wasn’t paying attention too much when I was gonna use it. Gonna go back to pulling ears back and inserting iems; avoid just jamming it directly.

Never had it to the point of pain, but to prevent it I pull up and back on my outer ear to break the seal and then gently “roll” the IEM/tip out of my ear as I break the seal. Makes for an easy, comfortable removal AND can help prevent a tip dislodging or the like.

This happened over 15 hours ago and its not sore right now. Moving my jaw also doesn’t exhibit any soreness or pain but I’ll give my ear more than enough time.

Better safe than sorry!

Never had anything even close to that, but a couple of times I had the tips remain in ear on sets with lipless nozzles. But by then there’s no vacuum anymore since the middle is wide open, also found the 3.5 jack to be particularly good at retrieving those tips, albeit very slow and carefully. Good luck there and give those ears a rest just in case.

On the subject of tips, I can’t quite grasp my head around the concept of people who are able to use only a single type of tips. Like Chris (@hawaiibadboy) for instance has mentioned quite a few times that he uses CP100s on basically anything universal. I love CP100s but I can’t for the life of me get a perfect seal with them or any other tip model for all sets. If I put CP100s on the Mest Mk II for example, the subtlest yawn, if I take a sip, or starting singing along, there goes all the low end. I put on Moondrop Spring Tips on them, perfect seal, always, could possibly rave and they keep on 100%.

So, apart from foams, which of course always work but isn’t always what I want for the set, I tip roll not for sound but for sealing.

Favorites are: MD Spring tips (wide bore, sizes run small), Tang Sancai (balanced, regular sizes), CP100 (balanced, regular size) and Divinus Velvet (balanced, has intermediate sizes ML etc, super comfy, not worth it for the price).
