Yep and we have done for the last 10 years, we have no home mooring so we move the wide beam barge every two weeks…Todays view from the side hatch…

I believe I could have lived like this. Seems so peaceful 
. Maybe moving every two weeks is a stressful, so a permanent mooring probably wouldn’t hurt

I have a cat too, a selfish russian blue, he’s 8 years old, called Dimitri. One of his doctors gave him a nickname: Russian Mobster. Because he scratched the shit out of the assistant at theirs on his first check-up.
I don’t know what will I do when he would go.

I thought when my Son was born the loss of a furry family member would be different…
It’s not.
I worry about Kai 24/7 The frypan oil, the heavy thing he can reach, the stairway, traffic, just everything.
It’s just a new level of worry and it’s constant and forever.
Losing a long time member of the family hurt as bad as before Kai was born.
Not sure how my brain ever thought otherwise.
So thanks to everyone. Hope your family (the 2 and 4 or more legged ones) are all healthy and happy
