Lol I just got my Meteor a few hours ago
It’s actually insane how they took away the ESTs and replaced them with cheaper Micro Planars
Kept the same cable as the Aria 2 and Dusk, same case, and slapped on a $500 price tag
A/Bing with the Volare that has 4EST the Volare is so much smoother and more detailed
They could’ve just kept the components from the Variations and just retuned it, would’ve been so much better
Now it’s just Meteorcre

The micro planars are cheaper than Sonion EST.
I’m sure their flagship $2k set kept the Sonion

I like Dusk with DSP and am not a fan without that. I’d imagine this would be same but I’m not into Waifu so…I’ll never know.
I think this switch to planar in treb instead of EST is a big mistake.
Planar is a beast on the other side…Bass

All I can find about the DD in the Prestige Ltd is that it’s 10mm, nothing on material. But it’s a fantastic bass in all respects. Do you have any insight on what the material is?
