I’ve been saving up for that. Although 2000 is higher end of what I’m willing to pay, but the tuning looks fkin perfect.

What do you guys think. Hold on to older sets?

I also have Punch, Deuce and Docinco. I love em all. No time soon are any of them going anywhere. Having spares is good. They all have something special in their own right. Happy I don’t have to choose one, Deuce could take it today but Punch tomorrow, it’s not fully about the sound though, yet DD drivers are special to me in naturalism. But that set is like a favorite blanket, just wanna snuggle up and listen for hours, sleeping no problem, super comfy for me. Love the look of the shells. A touch of eq really helps for some details to come through.
Punch is exceptional combination of drivers and tuning for price. It does present more info, separation, resolution, albeit slightly back in stage from Deuce, which is wonderfully intimate with that FAT bottom. I feel like Punch is the result of mating the other two, but with better treble. My only wish for Punch is a better fit …nozzle angle maybe?
Doscinco is a go to if I’m doing dirty work about the property, I wouldn’t be as upset if something happened to it. The mid bass kick is sick on that one , and a very solid all rounder performer.
Strictly sound wise, sure, Punch scores higher, not by a lot, I do think it handles volume best of the 3, treble is spot on for my tastes.
All three of those would be Phil Lesh approved, they replay GD live stuff exceptionally. Was taken aback last nite with Punch listening to a show I was at in Englishtown NJ. 77. We were in a sweet spot, close enough that I was listening to stage sounds and still hearing the mix through the PA. Couldn’t stop grinning …Thanks Mr HBB!

He’s 2 and he knows all the planets :ringer_planet: in English and Japanese. Solar System, Quasar, Supernova and Black Holes are next

Totally tricking out his room in space theme.

Bought him a new toy for his hobby. No idea how to work it but I’ll figure it out

EDIT:
Pluto is in a lot of his stuff. Gotta break it to him that Pluto has been demoted :smiling_face_with_tear:

That’s the one we didn’t do for my sons, 1st major room theme was my wife painting 3d underwater scene, then that upgraded to a Jurassic jungle in the next house… My ex is an artist, so that was fun for them.

I was looking at a wall hanging and stumbled into a Instagram collection of wild kid rooms and felt inadequate …i need to gooverboard like Christmas lights but do his room in super space mode.

Audeze Isine successor?

What material is it? Dont remember seeing people complain about that with the isines.

Maybe you need to make it thinner or use a less dense material.

This setup is really cool and you could fit a pretty big bass shaker BC in it I think.

This is not a lightweight planar driver, it’s a 40mm Dynamic Driver and is 9mm thick, as well as being 10mm larger than the planar driver on the Audeze Isine.

How about 40mm planar driver + BC

This is the only photo I can find of a 40mm bone conductor. I imagine the fit would be complicated.

What is the video called? I am an avid stargazer and would like to introduce my grandson to the wonderful world of astronomy. The video looks fun and educational.
