I canāt really hate on the tuning at all. I feel like you probably should try one. I do doubt it will be your best stuff, but who knowsā¦ I donāt have access to big wallet sets.

Their planar set sucked ass, so did the Monkey King iem. I have them both. The Zibra/Zebra(?) are better but not good.

That looks good. I wish the promo (linsoul and everyone) mentioned driver count as per side and not total. Always do it one way or always do it the other. They said 19 per for Valhalla so they shoulda said 8 per for Dragonfly.

For sure, I was confused as heck when i read that. I think Tigerism = MiM from the Dark Magican days, rebranded. The only thing I can add is this is the only set iāve heard from Tigerism that actually sounds good. Octave was aā¦ a piss poor DM.

Far as I can tell, self-rebranded. I asked endlessly why the DM wasnt made again and the answer is itās difficult. From looking around at graphs, they are all over the place, which makes sense because iāve been driving myself insane trying to make these fing drivers do the same thing with multiple sets.
Going on a year plus, I think I cracked the code, which is my Anomaly.

I feel like we are going backwards sometimes with transparency and stuff like that. I do recall having to do driver maths (divide by 2) a lot in the old days. Old habits die bad orā¦old habits die hard ā¦whichever, both apply

I still canāt believe I own a pair of DMsā¦ I was thinking about the name your chose for your set, āAnomalyā, I think itās perfect.
The DMs, to me, are an anomaly. The way they represent the space where the music is playing from is kind of bonkers. Iāve never had another IEM give me that kind of experience before. Iām assuming the anomaly is going to be similar but justā¦ moar.

I have a thread here talking about my trials and tribulations. Here is the offical graph, and Iāll have a thing people can do to get more bass if they desire. That would be a lot more subsā¦ iāll graph when i have a set that is finalized.
I know the graph looks like ā¦ whatever. The sound is what matters and itās on point. All i can say.

The Fatfreq debacle was and still is mind boggling.
in 2024 a company harvested 2 million in capital and was as quiet, unsupportive and chaotic as any rando chifi brand in 2018 on Aliexpressā¦that actually happened.
Customers got fucked so hard a lot just bounced out
I got fucked in ways I wonāt get into
Just the company got as huge boost in cash on hand.
No name drivers being seemingly everywhere
Exclusive access to āfriendsā before ā¦well before release to maximize pre order sales
This is all text book budget mid chifi 2018 and it has returned to the whole hobby.
Kinda wildā¦shows what having 40 people on payroll eating dicks will do.
