WTF……. . What a idea:exploding_head:
Flexing the shell material is apparently more impressive to them.
I don’t even believe that claim is true.
Looks like a trash company with zero effort put into anything besides robbing folks
Any impressions on the Effect Audio Axiom? It’s from 2022 and is on sale for $399 from the original $1200.
I only did a demo so no comment besides I didn’t buy it.
They shaved 1000 off of their profit and it doesn’t come with a cable.
No reason to not just get a good chi fi set or a used kilobuck set at this price range.
Thanks for responding.
Usually a rest day but I did a bit. I hope to squeeze a little cardio in at the end of the day, too.
Appreciate the effort!
Hey, Chris, you getting the Symphonium Giant?
Anyone else getting it?
I’m mixed on it, could be a better meteor or just bright af.
In my opinion, it’s kind of an upgraded Meteor in some ways, it just lacks that special sauce of the Meteors, but that’s just my opinion. It does have a DD, though, so bass tactility is most definitely improved.
Pricing will be similar as the Meteor as well, slightly more expensive.
Edit; My CanJam impressions
Symphonium Giant - Very warm and extremely pleasing to the ear, these were a great listen! If I had to make a comparison to something a bit older, I’d say these are similar to the Meteors but with a bit more resolution and overall space within notes and less spice on the back end of the treble. Speaking of the treble, it’s extremely smooth and similar to that of a Thie house sound with a bit more dynamics thrown in the mix.
Nah, I’ll pass.
Sounds like the Meteor got a glow-up but kept its roots! That added DD must bring some serious oomph. Curious—how does the bass stack up against the OG Meteor? Also, love the Thie comparison—so it’s got that smooth yet dynamic vibe? Might have to give these a listen!
I’m just curious, Chris, why so quick to pass on these?
My videos have been clear recently.
I’m not buying sets that are vague about internals.
I’m not recommending my viewers buy such sets either.
My comments section has asked about the new TE Blue 2 and upcoming Canpur among others. Nobody has asked about a set called Giant. I had no idea it existed till Jaytiss asked about it
Did you take that?
very cool.
I wish, no it’s an Astronomy Picture of the Day, APOD. Image Credit & Copyright: Jean-François Bax & Serge Brunier, OCA/C2PU
