I have the Aegis.
Pro tip: It is very sensitive, both DD and BCD, so a clean source/signal is very important, so no dirty host/USB. Something with great resolution/end-to-end extension, to bring up the otherwise dark treble, reaching further in the sub-bass depth which tend to lessen the mid-bass focus and in so doing perceptually bringing down the prominent upper mids. Also responds a lot to tip choice, I recommend Baroque or Final E-Type, depending on what you want to highlight, vocals or bass respectively.
When given the proper conditions, the Aegis is my favourite DD IEM of all time, eclipsing even the OG Dark Magician for overall enjoyment⌠It can be made to sound so clean and agile that youâd almost mistake it for a Multi-BA configuration but with the strengths of a single DD.
