Buying a set for personal stash. gotta get in line

I’m getting the feeling that every item on Linsoul these days is a pre-order. That’s convenient for them to keep inventory costs down but not so much for us buyers :expressionless:

Seems to be industry standard
Canpur was a 3 month wait
Asteria is still in the ether
HEX is a 10 build a month set
I just bought a Hifiman Stealth modified with a Cayin tube amp because waiting and lack of innovation…and waiting more

How’s that HE1000 been treating you so far? It’s been my main headphone for a while now. By far one the most pleasant Hifimans I’ve hear so far. Bass still isn’t as fun as the HE6v2 though.
I’ve been eyeing Cayin tube amps for a while now, but none of my trusted local sellers carry them… Maybe I’ll have to cough up the cash to go to High End Vienna next year then.

That’s the problem when living on the continent isn’t it (I seem to remember you live on continental Europe as well, apologies if I’m wrong of course)? There are not that many stores around that sell headfi products and those that do carry a limited selection.

Yep, I’m from Belgium.

Most local dealers in Belgium and The Netherlands are being squeezed by DuneBlue.

They don’t like dealers that carry brands other than the ones they import and are an absolute menace to deal with to my knowledge.

Headphone auditions in Amsterdam is one of the very rare exceptions that have the balls to do their own thing to my knowledge. (It’s a 400km round trip for me)

I enjoy the stealth more than the Susvara. I think comfort is a part and new toy bias. Really impressive set. I got the HP and amp for 2k with all the Kimber cables and the gorgeous grey one. Happy camper over here

Sounds like racketeering and mob tactics

Yep, that’s how they pushed out most competition. Almost every local dealer has the same line-up at the same prices these days.

Glad to hear old age hasn’t caught with my memory yet  Didn’t know Dune Blue was that bad (quite disappointing to hear). Have yet to go and visit Headphone Auditions but that is, to be honest, primarily because I don’t like Amsterdam as a city…

Is there any company in the hobby that has 8 legit walk away sets (include all price ranges) this is 500-2000…all bangers.

Valhalla w/ rumble switch. Only folks married to the Valhalla should hold. Otherwise this is the best they got
And it has a super switch…kind of game changer or at least an evolution

Ahem. 9. Origin.
That set is dangerously addicting.

(I’d throw in the Hype 4 too, but that’s below $500)
