Donât get me started on Gen Z⌠Besides: itâs clear to me that they havenât even bothered with actually watching your content. âPeriodically the newest productsâŚâ You get plenty of those anyways. And the benefits: they probably missed the part where you bought the Asteria and contemplated the Fugaku (IIRC you got the other MEMS set right? Or Iâm mixing things up here). Basic marketing (what I was taught in my second year): know your target.
Love me some good Engrish.
(You would think that with LLMâs, translation would be more accurate these days.)
Plot twist: itâs actually the correct translation
To me, this seems like the best use case for them: wireless.
Aside from the resonant peak that looks like great tuning if it is remotely accurate
Yeah, the decay on mems is audibly unnatural. Loved itâs uniqueness but not for multi thousands of dollars.
Hopped righ off that train permanently
But in affordable wireless form? Sure.
Itâs also a natural fit with the power supply required, though I wonder if itâll drain the batteries significantly faster or not. But like you said itâs a train best kept rolling by others.
Agree,
Iâve been using these for a while now as my TWS and they hold up pretty well. (also, these use xMems. Not sure what the exact difference is with Mems)
This company just reached out to me today.
They did before but me being an American with a Japanese shipping address seemed to break their brain .
Oh, Ima order them now.
Worst cast scenario itâs $60 bucks down the drain.
Iâve failed worseâŚmuchâŚworse
xMems is the brand. (Sonion, KnowlesâŚ)
Mems is the driver type. (BA, DD, PlanarâŚ)
The Purple super flagship hurts my head. Are they cloning other brands targets?
EDIT: Iss that an Empire Ears curve?
Its the same tactic KZ used, comparing with a graph of a terrible kilobuck+ iem to make their own somehow look betterâŚ
Yeah that Purple one gotta be a Empire EarsâŚ
hmm that is likely a translation error for Sonion, It sounds like they are using the quad âESTâ from them.
Purple one is either LX or Fei Wan. Upper mids look close to Fei Wan-like. So from what I understand they not only compare their iem to these tunings but offer an option to make their iem sound like these dotted graphs aswell⌠says 5 tunings⌠but those dotted ones are only targets and not a resulting graphs of moondrop iem after EQ. You donât go from this smooth upper mid graph to Empire Ears-like with this narrow 5k dip and treble peaks with a simple EQ. Unless there are gargantuan PEQ filters built in just for that, which is not really happening considering the other filters are as plain as bass boosts.
