At some point when I was still considering to try 622b I reached out to them with some questions and after one reply from them asking me how many sets I want to buy I got ghosted. Maybe because my answer was one set. Well I saved some cash right there. I had better customer experience in probably all other cases

It’s not exactly the same but it did remind me of something else. I’ve been waiting for the FiiO M27 to be released and when you look for it online you get a couple of online retailers. One of them is Dutch and it says in the search results ‘in stock’. However, when you actually click on the link and go to the product page, it says ‘preorder’ and ‘expected november’. I hate that sort of thing.

Yeah, Musictek and Elise sometimes show as in stock in google search but when reaching Elise it is clear that it’s not in stock. That may sometimes be related to the Search engines since Elise clearly states not in in stock. Musictek can be a little less clear in my experiences.
Some sellers not including the above two, likely play a bit loose with it in hopes of getting the cash.
2025 was like going to a theme park in Japan. Wait 1 hour for a 1 minute jet coaster. It’s become normal to just buy and try to forget you did so the calander doesn’t stress you. Weird reality

I’m pretty sure most people don’t know much about the way computers (in the broadest sense possible) work. You’d think otherwise given what looks like an enormous number of people online talking about them but those are just the ‘enthusiasts’ (and they aren’t even always knowledgeable).

Good observation. It might not be the Dutch seller’s fault. The weirdest part: it’s listed on FiiO’s own webpage expect if you click on it you get the JM21 because they haven’t updated their site… It’s a bit like the commodification of the buyer in that we don’t seem to matter that much anymore

What kind of sound signature are you looking for? If you are looking for more of a Arcadia/Punch sound signature I think you might not like EJ10 anyway probably. Maybe Punch Audio Martilo? But then you would have three more similar sets😅.
There are countless versions of this device available on the internet. We purchased two; one for our home and one for the parents’ home of our grandson. Fail to prepare and prepare to fail!
