Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

I could not believe the ignorance of this man. He chose to die on policy hill. I rode up on a bike, had cash in hand, offered to sign a liability form, and this idiot still refused. Stupid is as stupid does, I suppose. Welcome to the forum, btw! We have a great group on this forum, and this thread is definitely a hot spot.

Kudos to all of you guys and gals gettin it done in the gym. I am getting ready to initiate a small program that I can self-manage easily and still be effective. Part of it is something called ā€œChair Yogaā€! Sounds weird, I know, but the movements are really good and are optimal for people like me who suffer from structural challenges. Right now, I am getting my burn in working in the yard. Turns out, good old fashioned hard work burns a ton of calories. I am down 4 pounds in two weeks. This is the point where you actually start to see progress and it jacks me up to do more!

Reminds me of the time my old man was touring an Acura dealership when he was travelling back from a plant he’d been working at out of state (you’ll have to forgive me as I wasn’t present and some of the details are a bit fuzzy). Being as he is, Dad came into the dealership in a somewhat worn Sweatshirt of plain make, some well worn Khaki Shorts and Tennis Shoes. He was dressed for comfort as he had probably a 7-8 hour driving day that day, and decided to pop in since he knew the dealership was on the way and he wanted to talk shop while looking at what was in stock (he previously had an RSX Type-S and always had an ear to the ground for Acura’s upcoming performance models). When he approached one of the salesmen on the floor, he essentially got dressed down as being ā€œunable to afford anything in the showroomā€ based on his dress and demeanor. Dad isn’t the type to take such an insult laying down, so he let the salesman know as much and informed him that he would be reporting him to their national office for his rude assumptions and behavior before he walked out to his (what was then <1 year old) either C6 or C7 Grand Sport Corvette (the year is fuzzy so I can’t remember which it was, he swaps cars pretty frequently haha) and resumed his drive home. Later, as promised, he both emailed and called the national office to report the goon by name and detail his experience. Lo and behold, not only did the salesman get let go (which he found out after stopping by the following year on another routine visit to same-said plant) but within a year or two of the incident, the dealership also got sold and had a complete name change. It can be amazing how some people that work in sales can shoot themselves in the foot in short order and for what? A little ego rub at the expense of the clientele? One of the first things instilled in me when I worked retail decades ago was to never talk a customer out of a sale, you can be sensitive to their needs or down/upsell as appropriate for their needs but don’t change their mind for them. For anyone curious, the dealership is Acura of Johnson on I80 outside of Des Moines, formerly Jordan Acura lol. I have never stopped in as I’m always in a hurry to and from, but Dad tells me that the new dealership employees are far more sensitive to their customers’ needs.

it’s nuts how bad I am at taking progress pics, these two are only around two months away from being a year old lol

Muscle growth wise I’ve been focusing on my chest and side delts and biceps, hoping to have gained around a couple more inches by Summer but we’ll see :folded_hands:

It’s tough, a boring diet of chicken breast, tuna, rice, egg whites, lean beef, veg, fruit etc…fasted cardio and ab work every morning. Followed by a day of physical work for me then the gym :man_lifting_weights: that was my favourite place lol. Good luck brother with your goals, they’re all obtainable for anyone who has the discipline:folded_hands: :+1:

I’ve got money, self-made, but I don’t look or dress like it. I stopped purchasing from brick-mortar stereo stores a long time ago because they would judge me not suitable as their clientele. Fuck them. I’m glad all those judgmental sales fucks are out of job. Long live online sales without sales people!

I’ve never been one to need someone to tell me what I need. I know some people do. The world would be a better place if people learned and practiced critical thinking. Collectively we would not need sales people. Sorry if you’re in sales. I don’t think it’s a productive life to lead.

Stealth Wealth is highly underrated!

Not for many years so no slight taken, I’m more of a Technical Consultant now.

An immutable truth but one that will never fully come to pass. There will always be a place for both the Movers and Shakers as well as the Rank and File. Makes me think of the Men In Black park bench scene:

Your triceps look awesome so if you bench then they’ll be doing a lot of your pec work. If you have the space in your gym. Then after a good warm up then do 3 sets of incline flys circa 10/8/7 to failure (that’s fucking hard work) follow 3 sets Smith Machine bench, again slow, squeeze, failure 16/14/12 then maybe two sets of deep wide grip dips.

To build pecs they need to do the work # genetics you need to work with what you’ve been given :+1:

I’m not in shape enough to post any pics, but I’ll be contributing by June/July no doubt about it.

175 lean is my goal, I’m 170/171 now but probably about 26-28% body fat. About 6 months ago, I was 216 around ~35% body fat so I’ve made decent progress. I’m on no gear. Strictly natural. I’m hoping to do this as smoothly and non-taxing on my body in the long run as possible.

You guys are looking jacked, love to see it :flexed_biceps:

A few albums I’ve been listening to recently. Lux by Rosalia is a must-listen.

That is impressive, and solid progress.

My current look is sort of hippie Santa after hauling a load of presents, but fueled entirely by cookies & milk. I sort of got serious again around Halloween, but the winter weather is rough in Omaha. My starting point was closer to 320, and I lost 20 pounds over the holidays, which adds to difficulty, since I do most of the cooking and all of the baking.

I have been fighting some thyroid issues, and have been having weird bursts of weight gain over the last eyar, so I feel like Sisyphus pushing the same rock up the hill.

Just remember that consistency is key, you can always adjust work load and diet plus getting your cardio and vascular health up in the process is just as important as raw weight loss! Any workout is better than no workout, and as the saying goes ā€œProgress, not perfectionā€.

I confirmed that if it is too cold, that I can do some combo of resistance bands and Pilates exercises ( most of the mat work is great for your core ). I will feel better, have less recovery time, and actually have better results than a run/walk/crawl of the same time.

hello there

I went to order some cp100+ and the 100 series was replaced by the Neo, but they seem to exactly the same dimensions. They are all very similar in color now ( slate blue ). I still have not tried the W1 which was the other one they released a couple years ago.

I will report back on my impressions of the SpinFit Neo.
