that isn’t what bias means, the sonomas run at a different voltage from pro bias stax and normal bias stax, they aren’t interchangeable, it’s like trying to run HE1 off a 353x or an ESL
You can change the voltage bias on the iesl pro
The sonoma M1 runs at 1350V, the iESL has a max output of 640V

Ya know, besides all the modding and stuff you would have had to do anyway lol. On my iesl I am running some sr007mk2’s and it’s great, no problems whatsoever

Not really that much, if you can I would go for the mk2 just for the slightly better build

Yep, definitely first gen. I haven’t heard / read anything about the build quality on the Mk II’s going up, I thought it was only a revision to add detachable cables.
Very slight changes, the plastic is less creaky lol
Detachable cables + metal yolks
The metal yolks helps with the seal which supposedly helps with bass
I didn’t notice a big difference with the bass but the yolks make it feel way more solid
