Cheap IEM recommendations

as expected, the tips on the wyvern but also the chu ii just aren’t that comfortable. Looks like the spring tips that used to come with the original chu don’t come with the newer model. Anybody have a recommendation for a more comfortable set of tips that is good at forming to the ear?

Edit: Chu came in with an absolute massive channel balance problem so those will definitely be going back sadly

after testing that kinera ryu in a call and getting some feedback… This is definitely going back… the audio quality is horrendous and just as put here completely pointless… so I am going to just opt for a seperate setup

Yeah, I’ve heard mixed things about boom mics for IEMs—seems like a lot of hassle for not much gain. Which lav mic are you leaning towards? Also, was the Kinera Ryu just muffled, or was it more of a background noise mess?

I personally just love the spring tips. They’re wide bore, which for me is a plus on almost anything, and they’re grippy and secure without being weird like the Xelastecs. I have like 8 pairs of spring tips floating around my most commonly used pairs lol

Havent decided for the lav, however the kinera was very muffled and scratchy, was compared to an old radio show sound overall by some people i talk with. No real complaints on chu or wyvern outside of personal comfort but id honestly never recommend iem mics if thats the quality for them.

Was either that or something like the memory foam. I hate firmer materials or something that can feel a bit coarse on the ear.
