Plant holding a guitar in this photo cracks me up. Did he ever play a six-string on any Zeppelin track or live?
I’m not trying to demean the Golden God. He’s one of the greatest front men in rock history.
Rich’s virtuosity as a player was matched only by the levels to which he was a complete assh*le to members of his band.

Well they definitely influenced the scene, but they were not alone in that.
It’s my opinion, but the uppercase version of that slogan was created by CBS Records to promote The Clash after the release of “London Calling.” Many fans and journalists at the time picked up on the phrase.
