Unreal album.
My 22-year-old son and I rented a car at LaGuardia yesterday to drive home to Syracuse after our Delta flight was delayed by 10 hours due to the FAA computer screw-up. I took the occasion to play him a few tracks from The Pretenders’ first record on the five-hour drive to continue his rock-and-roll education.

Air travel is for the birds lately🙄 Nice you were able to make some good out of a lousy situation though. My Dad liked Johnny Cash and that early exposure to his music stuck with me. Not a big fan of country, but Johnny was different.

I just read this today -
Robbie Bachman, drummer of rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, dies at 69
He passed away Thursday evening. No cause of death has been posted at this time. But man, another one gone. RIP Robbie.
And as I write this, I found out that Robbie Knievel has passed away. Robbie died following a battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 60 in January 2023. Not music related, I know, but worth a mention. Knowing Robbie, he will probably want to jump the pearly gates when he gets up there! Rest in Peace, Robbie.
