I finally got it. Yup, 2024 version. It’s early days but the bass seems ample to me. This thing is damn source transparent though!

Transients from the Mojo and Comet+ come through as snappy as they should do, but my Hiby R4 is positively soft in comparison! More listening required…

Qobuz > SU-1 > Mojo > Cadenza 12 (stock cable, narrow bore foam tips)

Qobuz > SU-1 > Comet+ > Taurus mk. II > Cadenza 12 (stock cable, narrow bore foam tips)

Qobuz > Hiby R4 > Cadenza 12 (stock cable, narrow bore foam tips)

Congrats

Yes, very source transparent, i planned to use it with my Zen Dac v2 but found it too smooth and therefore sold the Zen Dac.

Sold Ifi Go Blu for the same reason.

My favourite paring is with Q5K into G5 or only with the G5.

BTR17 seems to be a great match aswell but it’s still too early but i definitely enjoy desktop mode over bluetooth.

Hiby R6III also does the trick.

The ivipQ cable i bought enhances the bass and softens everything which is not what i was after, I’ll probably just stick with the stock cable as it’s too much of a costly gamble to try and find out which cable is a good match.

Actually the Stock cable is a perfect match and looks classy i only wanted to change it because of microphonics but then again it never bothered me while listening to music, only when there is no music playing and I am moving arround .

For tips i recommend Tri Clarion or Feaulle H570 which fit more securely for me.

Xelastecs are fantastic aswell i just don’t like maintaining them
