Yea, that’s how I landed on the ESI sub.
The t5 is a fraction of the price but seems to struggle on anything lower than 45.
For the ESI I dunno, at least it says 30 there. can’t find anything useful on it.
As for the swans, I would consider those, but for my convenience I am ordering it all on Amazon. (ordering a bunch of other things too )
And they don’t have any swans, so unfortunately those are out.
I am not 100% sold on the MB42 but they are only 77 euros and seem to compete with 150 ish speakers so…I guess it’s fine. Doubt I will find anything that is obviously better for a similar price.
As for the Chip, it’s one thing to read it…another to experience it lol.
Whether it sounds the same or not, this way I would get closure one way or another
That satisfaction is worth something XD
Its hard to know when the specs comes from different companies, who knows how they measure them and/or if they are accurate or even trustworthy. But generally speaking, bigger sub is better. You get more extension and gain compared to a smaller sub. (Hoffmans ironlaw, you get to pick 2 of the 3 factors (extension, gain and size of the enclosure).) So that ESI sub SHOULD be the better one (and considering the price it better be…)
If you mean amazon.com they do, that is where I imported mine (before that eu store had it…). Amazon.com
Zeos said the Oasis140 is on the 300-400 usd level iirc.
Nah, amazon.de. It’s the closest I can get. Trying to get as much as possible delivered from them. It means I don’t have to pay any delivery or import fees. Although it vastly limits the choice.
There a host of other brands, but I can’t find any comparisons to the micca or edifiers.
Neumi also isn’t featuered on the DE site, which might have been an alternative.
For anybody that cares, so far no issue with the optic cable.
But streaming from the shield, the base volume is oddly low, not quite sure what that is about, but I am not noticing any noise at least. (so far).
