Wish Hiby was on Amazon. I like the features of the R3 Pro but I don’t have a month to wait around as my x1 gen 2 headphone jack decided to stop working yesterday afternoon. The Xduoo is a pass from me as I have 0 need for a dedicated line out (Don’t know why they felt the need to have that) and it looks like a lot of the cheaper DAPs followed suit for some reason. That’ll make finding a suitable replacement fun. :-/
So, the Xduoo x3 ii just came in and I’m laying here giving it a listen.
Marked improvement over the AP60II. Detail is much clearer, vocals are much cleaner. Bass is a little lacking, but I haven’t listened to may real thumpy tracks. And I look forward to using the line out with my recover/desktop speakers.
One off thing to note, stock settings are for high gain.
