If you want that sound easy pick of that immediate oh shit you can’t get this kind of sound unless you know the wombo combo.
6XX and A darkvoice tube amp with swapped tubes.
Lush extremely detailed and out of this world. Complete audiophile stuff.
The 58X is good but just spend that little bit extra on the 6XX it’s worth it.
And the 789 is good but think about what you want. Do you want accurate or fun?? For your first setup go for fun.
Asgard or SingXer SA-1 [another amazing class A amp] would be better than a 789 as its clinical [very accurate] but no fun.
