Amazon also did electric sheep, some Philip k dick stories as shorts in a series. That was pretty good on the ones that hit.
I can’t get into the expanse because it’s not really sci-fi, it’s a space drama. I’m maybe more into space westerns (Star Trek). Kind of like Star Wars being space opera.
PK Dick and other great sci-fi writers used technology to reveal something about humanity. I really enjoy the philosophy of sci-fi. That’s why doctor who has always been up there for me for it’s general optimism (much like TNG’s ideals). It’s 4am and I’m trying to get my son back to sleep so this probably isn’t super ceherant, just some thoughts
I would say DEVS is pretty good as well, it’s pretty solid until the end. Does a great job of balancing tech against human beings in a not so black mirror way
