Got Tempotec V1, works great as a DAP and seems to be good as a BT receiver too. Imagine a BTR7 with clip case, local playback and album art. Interface runs smooth.
Paired it up with my EN1000 and the sound is fantastic!

Iâm really enjoying that little dap. It does a lot for the price and itâs extremely portable.
I will say one thing that is a bit disappointing, is the fact that the company is advertising PEQ on the v1. They said it will add it with the update and as of today the v1 still does not offer PEQ and it is still being advertised as it does.
Hey folks, I just dropped my review of Shenzhen Audioâs new OOOPUSX OP.24. I was hoping for something special from the OP.24 given the crazy driver count for the price, but honestly, the tuning just wasnât there with this one.
I def like the idea of how they did the switch
Thieaudio Valhalla, Monarch MKIV and Origin size comparison. Subtle differences, Valhalla and Monarch fit almost the same with a small win for comfort to Valhalla since nozzle is shorter and work better for me.
Thatâs quite the name⊠It seems theyâre going in the direction of the Volume S design wise, at least as far as the inserts are concerned. Though I like this look better. Any first impressions to share or is it too soon?
Not mine bro just discovered itâs been released

^^^I think the guy is honest enough and listens to metal as his main genre, and these people rarely lie. Maybe a new benchmark for RSVâŠ
Mistook it for your DAP (thought I recognised the iBasso design language)
The Unique Melody Stardust is a $799 USD hybrid IEM: dual dynamic drivers (separate for sub-bass and bass) and four BAs (mid and high), with an impedance of 12Ω and sensitivity of 106dB. Thanks to headonist.fr and AudioGeek for arranging the tour!
The sound signature is fun and dynamic, especially in the bass. Thereâs great thump that stays well-controlled without carrying too much warmth into the mids. Good extension into the subbass. Itâs a little treble forward, which balances out the bass despite the relaxed mids and low-treble. Male vocals sound a bit light but clear.
This isnât a vocal-centric set. Not for those looking for vocals, especially female vocals, to shine through - theyâre just not the focus here. Relaxed vocals throughout. You shouldnât find any trace of sibilance, but vocals also lack that extra bite or edge you get with more vocal-forward tunings. I find this kind of tuning particularly well suited to low-volume or background listening.
Technicalities/separation/imaging are nothing special at this price point. The build quality is great with the sintered titanium giving a very cool look and feel. Here, youâre paying for premium build quality, not for best-in-class sound quality or technicalities. It sounds good, but itâs not super technical or standout in this price range sound wise. I find the long nozzles make for a good, comfortable fit.
For those who value the build as well as the relaxed-vocal style tuning, this makes a lot of sense to look at.
Just made these bad boys magnetic

Could you explain this beast
Itâs a Topping G5 which is great on its own already but you can also use it as amp only and feed it via AUX in with other DACs for some different flavours of sound
(In this case Cayin RU7/Qudelix5k)
Really versatile and fun to play arround with!
Itâs a 1 Watt powerhouse with switchable DAC chips and could fully replace a Desktop amp for me
Penon Archangel and ISN EST80. Both look great with the GY HI-FI aftermarket cables.
Archangel sounds very bassy, slightly colored yet fun and decently technical. Also, itâs versatile with the 2 switches that can actually change how it sounds. There are 3 sound signatures ranging from U, L or V shape depending on your mood. My fav switch config is 1-1 due to its great V shape sound with its fun bombastic bass. Also, the treble sounds energetic, detailed, well extended and yet is mostly fatigue free surprisingly.
But, the vocals ainât my jam as it sounded more on the neutral and balanced side rather than musical. I would prefer the vocals to be more forward, thicker and lush. It ainât a big deal breaker tho, just simply not hitting my sound preferences.
However, what really pissed me off was the Cadmus II stock cable being absolute trash. I found it to be malleable, the weaving is loose and the same with the connector. I had to return the Cadmus II cable and will receive the ASOS+ cable and the orange ear tips as replacement. Iâm glad I just got the GY HI-FI cables for better aesthetics and build quality. Do better Effect Audio and Penon, thatâs absolutely disappointing and pathetic for your $250 cable being this useless. If rate the Archangel solely on the sound then itâs a 8.5/10 but for the overall package, itâll be a 7.5/10.
The ISN EST80 is a W shape sounding IEM and sounds very colored, fun and decently technical. It has a better stock cable ironically due to its cheaper price compared to the Archangel. The stock cable has a much tighter weaving, not pliable and the connector is a lot tighter this time.
The bass is well balanced and doesnât favor the sub/midbass. Also, itâs textured, has a good kick and hits deep when needed. Bass quantity itâs not even close to the Archangel in comparison but for bass quality the EST80 is on par. Mids are great especially the vocals cuz it sounds thick, lush and forward just like how I wanted. Treble is energetic and detailed but the airiness could be better, quite ironic given the 2 EST drivers. I might have to tip roll to improve overall treble. Iâll give the EST80 an 8.3/10.
Both IEMs scale well with volume but the fit and comfort goes to the EST80 due to its slightly smaller size and more ergonomic fit. The Archangel is large and chonky, for me itâs a non issue but to some, good luck.
If you want a fun yet balanced sound then get the EST80. If you only care about bass and nothing else then get the Archangel.
Hey there! I just kicked off a new repository today. I realized that Prelude has a very potential EQ capability, so I decided to start this project where you can upload your EQ to share with everyone. Plus, you can also download other EQ files! (Dita is not involved in this)
What you need to do is pretty straightforward :

Letshuoer EJ10 in the house for loan, clarity at top with a clean if not a little bright tuning. Coming from using Monarch MKIV the last weeks EJ10 is more technical and stage is more spatial and wide/deep. No big comparison yet from me, but it is very enjoyable listening to EJ10 even though it borders my tolerance in the brightness.
Pair it with Cayin Ru7 on DSD64 setting and then reevaluate
Done that and love it! But i also very much enjoy it on DSD256 aswell
EJ10 reacts very good to source, tip and cable rolling.
The slight brightness is not a problem for my preference and i even like paring it with very neutral sources to get most of that energy
they look like those mineral stones you would find after excavating for years on a mineral deposit
