IEMSs on a budget suggestions (TinHiFi T2?)

i opted to buy the cadenzas and ordered them from linsoul… what are some good tips i can get ? i dont know size or anything about it

From my experience, the clear stock tips that come with Cadenza will work fine if you have zero knowledge or preference with tips. I only went down the tips rabbit hole because I always do

My first IEM was the KZ ZS10 Pro, and it got me to learn more about IEMs, because they were a bit too sibilant for me.

They sound pretty good plugged into a Roku remote, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend them.

I am using the black ones that came with it, but I also liked it with CP100 and Final E tips.

My cadenzas just got home today. I have to admit that as a first set and the price I am super happy. Impossible to compare them to the stock phone headphones i been using all this years. The sound quality is really really nice, I am really happy with them. The only thing i do not like too much is that they have very very low bass, so if you want to suggest some other one with some extra bass i’d be happy.

KBear Rosefinch. It’s literally a bass and treble boosted Cadenza. If you like Cadenza, that’s your bass cannon

where can i get them?

If you’re US, Amazon they’re usually like $15 or $13 with a coupon. If not, Keephifi will have them. I’ve bought from them before with no issue

i am from europe and they are 30 euro here on aliexpress

Can you purchase from here?

i will try, thank you

Bassy set rec:

  • $35: Blon Z300
  • $80: Tripowin Kailua
  • $109: Kiwi Ears Quartet
If I were you I would skip the first two and go straight to the Quartet.

One set that I haven’t heard is Kiwi Ears Melody that’s supposed to be bassy.

I’d skip all of those and get 3 KBear Rosefinch, some filters, and go effing nuts. But that’s me :smirk:

I am a huge fan of the Kailua, but for true budget the Tanchjim One DSP is tough to beat. With the app you can tune it on the fly, and other than some clipping if you take the mids up too high, it can do nearly anything pretty well.

I prefer the Tanya DSP to the One DSP. But the OP says that he listens to Rock and with the mid bass tuck I don’t like the stock tuning of the DSP sets.

The reason I pick the Tanchjim One DSP is that stock tuning is irrelevant. I am not a fan of the default tuning, but the app has a few presets, and it can be custom tuned.

Just be careful to not set the frequency to be above 20 000hz or you kill your iem and/or your ears…
