Haken dropped a new track today. “Invasion” is the 3rd track they’ve released from their upcoming album “Virus.” I say that because this video definitely runs with the virus theme. That may be tough for some right now.

Hélène Grimaud playing Brahms’ 1st piano concerto. FYI she’s one of the top ten pianists in the world today, and she does Brahms better than anyone. I’m listening to a FLAC file from the CD, but y’all could do a lot worse by listening to this. Basically, this is why I care about audio gear. I want to be able to hear her playing Brahms as well as I possibly can.

After “rediscovering” Mazzy Star last week, i’ve listen a bit to their albums on spotify and the organ on this draws me in somehow… Hope Sandoval has a great voice, and the songs feels very organic (less produced than most newer music)
