Fun fact…Stewart Copeland from The Police performed drums on this song. His cymbal work on this track is under-appreciated IMO.
Is a dope drummer for sure
Edited to add all the members are proficient musicians and song writers
Listening to 90s rnb through Amazon Music HD. Right, now ‘TLC - Creep’ is on.
Set up: ZIshan Z3 Pro (LME49860, Slow filter) → TRN V80.
Edit: Wrong op amp.
Love the massive droning riff
Last time I saw Heart was at a venue downtown Seattle, called the Showbox - a choice place to see bands in a more intimate setting. The 80s/90s was a most excellent time to have just turned legal and be able to hit up the Seattle nightlife and music scene.
The sound stage of this song is wild, finding where each instrument is located is really interesting.
Tidal → LDAC → btr5 balanced out → blon bl-03
Working on a saturday, and that opening track cought my interest… dangers of listening to music while trying to do some work and where have i heard that (or at least very similar) bass line?
think it must be this one:
Aye it would’ve gone well in a Tarantino or Spaghetti western film?
when i tried to find what that bass line reminded me off, i first went the Tarantino route, but the song i posted ended up being from “Snatch” instead

I saw L7 open for Manson in 97 in and old airport hanger, life changing, the live in Osaka version is best
