Love this album.
Great tune, awesome album. I remember standing in line at the local Coconuts Music waiting to buy Use Your Illusion 1 and 2.
So, I discovered Pat Methany because of a certain popular anime (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure)
I first heard Last Train Home, which immediately grabbed my attention in the end credits to Stardust Crusaders. I’ve never really heard an Electric Sitar used before, but I love the sound of it.
Then this next track “Have You Heard” is probably the best recorded song I have EVER heard. Those hi hats and cymbals sound so realistic and amazing on every headphone I own, the best on the Focal Clear. And the way they recorded it makes the soundstage pretty wide too, it’s really worth a listen.
And the production on the “Use your illusion” albums is actually pretty good in my ears (guess '91 is perhaps too early for the loudness war to affect the production).
Name didn’t show up: L’Via L’Viaquez by The Mars Volta [Edit: yes it did, oh well]
