I loved her EP, but I have been going around on this one since it relased in August. I bought it tonight, finally.

It really is a pretty solid album.

If you like blues and you’ve never heard Muddy Watters or folk singer I implore you to listen to this… I love it in vinyl but basically any format you can get your hands on will be sufficient. They did such a great job recording this record.

If you want to go super deep in the Muddy Waters I would suggest getting ahold of the Chess Box set.

I have literally worn out my copy of Mannish Boy. Maybe it is time to dig further.

I love doing deep dives on blues or jazz. There are a ton of great artists that we never heard of from decades ago.

Agreed so much great music out their but you have to dig through crap to find it. Especially Blues & Jazz but even is some other genres there is a treasure out there to find.

I also find that sometimes on these forums we get lost or caught up in the gear and forget about the actual music. Which IMO is even more fun to discover than a new set of HPs or a tube amp.
