I really have not listened to TOOL much, just really not my thing. But, I did go and check this album out and gave it a play thru beginning to end. I got into Vicarious, was my fav and also Rosetta Stoned stood out for me as well. I admit, I listened more for the instrumentation than the lyrical content. For me, I have to be into the “jam” first - it’s just how I am wired. And those two tracks in particular, put me in a zone.
If you really want to go a little deeper, listen to the final track on their Lateralus album, ‘Faaip de Oiad’ and then immediately go to Rosetta Stoned.
On the Andro’s tonight a totally different experience from the Z1R’s, liking the Mids and less full on delivery …
