This is a weird one. Check it out if you’re into modern classical.
Thanks for sharing.
While in High School, I’d heard a few songs from Rush on the radio, and got Presto for Christmas the year it came out. I told a new friend about them in one of my classes, and he taped Exit Stage Left. From that point on, they’ve remained my favorite artist. I’ve only seen them three times: once around their 20th anniversary, once for the 30th tour and lastly, for the 40th tour as a gift from my wife for my 40th birthday. That was the first time she saw them, and was absolutely amazed. I’m so glad I got to see them the last time, since they went on permanent hiatus shortly after we saw them.
Showing my 6XX some love tonight, it’d been a while!
(Sundara monopolizes my time these days)
YTM → iPad Pro → BTR5 → 6XX (balanced)
Pulling out old vinyl and sparking up the turntable. Loved this band. I seem to remember the singer was gorgeous.
Just so much Death Grips → SMSL Sanskrit MkII → Asgard 3 → dt880 600ohm
Going through their whole discography but some favorites so far include Spikes, Warping, BB Poison, Flies, Streaky
I have (or used to have!) all the shirts, bought the night of the show. Like a fool I wore most of them out and only have a few left. Unfortunately life got in the way and I missed the last show they did here. But that’s OK. I have plenty of memories of the shows I did get to see that will last forever.
I just listened to this entire album on AmazonHD. Just like Stacey’s Mom, Amy Lee still has it going on!
This is my current favorite track, if I had to pick one.
Needless to say by the time you are seeing this, I’ve logged into Qobuz and bought the album…
