Here’s a few songs from the band Intervals that originates from Toronto Canada … They play the new metal music similar to Plini, Owane, Animals as leaders , David Maxim Micic, etc…
I like to think of it as Nu-metal / jazz but that’s my personal description…LoL

I happened to stumble on this ( sax, bass, drums) trio called Ill Considered a while back. They’re a youthful combination of catchy rhythms and avant garde jazz.
I like almost every song they play, but hey I’m different?.
