Will have to listen to a bit of Foo Fighers today…
RIP Taylor Hawkins
Ditto. Just checked and I have 41 Foo Fighters songs for a grand total of two hours and forty nine minutes of music. That is where I will start my listening today.
I JUST finished this album.
It was done in this odd Ultra HD 3D format. Whenever I use my cell to stream AMHD I get these options. I have to say it was kind of fun but it wasn’t my favorite.
AMUHD > LG V40 > SMSL M200 > Realistic EQ > Denon AVR-2800 > Senn HD 660s
Nothing but Foo Fighters today and tonight. Crushed by the loss of Taylor Hawkins. What a monster. Once Neil Peart died, Hawkins became my favorite living drummer.
Rest in powerful percussion, man.

Been enjoying some nice content on YouTube today on the Audio Tree channel.
This was a great set. Love this lady’s voice.

Really love this album. They don’t get enough attention imo

Nice! This album came up recently in another group because we were talking about the cover artist Brian Blomerth after I bought a copy of Pacific Range ‘High Upon the Mountain’. Still have not check this album out though.
I got the LP from a subscription service where they curate albums based on your profile that you fill out. I received two orders yesterday (long and frustrating story), each with three LP’s. It turned out that I only liked half of them and the other half just didn’t do it for me.
This album was one of the ones I didn’t like and couldn’t even bring myself to flip it over and listen to the B side. The album art is interesting though.
That’s a bummer. I have definitely received some bombs from subscription services but it’s sort of to be expected now and again, but not half the time. I was a big 311 fan in high school so was interested in the album, maybe I’ll skip it haha. What subscription service you getting these from?
I was getting them from vnyl.org and I have one more shipment they owe me and I’m canceling it. Generally, the albums they send me are good to okay and sometimes not so good. But that’s expected since music is so subjective and personal.
The reason I’m canceling is the support and shipping service is awful. They’re frequently late, by over a month to ship. When you contact them about it you get the run around and it’s frustrating. I don’t want to deal with their headaches anymore.
