absolutely spectacular!
Listened to the soundtrack for the movie Arizona Dream last night after years of not listening to it. It good!
Yes, home at last! I was an early arrival this morning, getting into work @0530 for a special op. So I am home and in session a bit early. Got a pour of Jeffersonās in play and have a nice one going.
Let the games begin! Enjoy the evening, all.

Whatās up, beeches! Itās Friday and Iām a happy boy! Been a weird week, so I am ready to have some fun. And with that in mind, Jeffersonās in hand (we are gonna do some damage to that bottle tonight!) Iām starting strong.
Enjoy the evening, folks. Rock onā¦
Deep into the night we go. Since I enjoyed that album from Southern Empire so much last week I thought I would dig deeper into the catalog. Here is their latest āAnother Worldā

I watched an amazing Rick Beato interview this morning. Really great piece.
As a result, while I work a pot of Earl Grey I am enjoying this one
Love it when a session has a themeā¦
So, wanting to stay on theme, I got up, cleared my head, poured my last cup, and I found this amazing record.
What a gift this man has. And the recording is beautiful. The way they micād that Steinway in that amazing environment is topflight. An incredible listen.
Iām making a second run at this tonight, as I was rudely interrupted by my bride coming home and wanting help with stuff. Geezā¦ Lovin it just as much the second time 'round.
Shifting gears now. Love this one.
I finally put down the Mega5est! Iām rocking the Da Vinci tonight. I always have big fun with these.
Man, Nick Dā Virgilio kills it in multiple ways on this record! They are all incredible, but Nick kinda stands out to me. Great recording, too.
In 3rd grade I rode a bus to school. Every morning the AM radio station would play a track from this album. When I hear one of them now Iām right back there in that old school diesel bus riding through the snow near Lake Tahoe.
Many other now classic 70s tracks are the foundation of my auditory memory from that single year of bus rides. Good stuff.
Wow, thatās such a vivid memory! Itās amazing how certain songs can instantly transport us back to a specific time and place. I love when this happens.
For sure. The station would practically play the same block of tracks everyday during the same hour or so. Helen Reddy āLeave me aloneā, Charlie Rich āThe most beautiful girlā, among others. There was a Jim Stafford song in there tooā¦oh and I think it was 2nd grade.
