Listening to tonight (Part 2)

I saw Genesis play live in Toronto in 1974 and later when Peter Gabriel had left in 1978 for the And Then There Were Three Tour…
Brand X opened for Genesis at that concert and I enjoyed their show a little better than the Genesis performance…Genesis was never the same without Peter Gabriel, imho…
The first version of Brand X featuring Phil Collins was great as I was heavy into both Jazz / Fusion and Prog Rock at that time…

I loved both versions, Peter with his avant-garde and Phil’s more middle of the road…I think this summed it up perfectly for me…

thanks for the reminder, i think i never listened through it till now…shame on me…but ofc Dreams was listened to very often in order to assess gear, lol

Really a great album, only complaint is that some of the songs are too short unfortunately

I love “Never going back again”, but only 2 min :smiling_face_with_tear:

Any recs on what Fleetwood Mac album to listen to next?

Might just start at the beginning

edited - brain worked faster than my hands could write

Might not be to everyone’s taste as it is a Norwegian band singing in Norwegian, but love the drive guitar that comes inn at about 25sec. The song, or at least the verses, remind me of something, but i can’t pinpoint what.

I’m down with that for sure :+1:

I am not the biggest Mumford and Sons fan, but this is a good listen.

Definitely start at the beginning. Early stuff is a different band, much more blues and raw, in comparison to the commercially successful years with Buckingham and Nicks. Buckingham only agreed to join if Nicks could come along. Not to diminish what Nicks brought but…it became a different band and then the drugs became to much.

Thanks for the quick intro

Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the song
She cute

Yosi Horikawa & Daisuke Tanabe - Diversity

I totally missed this show but it would have sold out the moment tickets were made available. The Belly Up is classic SoCal and is about 10 mins from my house. Small venue, low ceilings but they pack about 500 in for shows

It’s been at least a decade, probably two, since my last listen of this debut album of this trio
