Saturday night! Tonight, I am rocking a setup I don’t use as much but should. It’s tasting good this evening, that is for sure. Found a really good one which seems to be hitting the spot.
There is world class talent peppered all over this project. The record is Beautifully done, too.

I found this record label Gondwana Records some time ago listening to the likes of GoGo Penguin, Mammal Hands and Portico Quartet… Turns out I enjoy every artist on the label…

Nice collection! I found the first one a little slow for my liking. The second one reminded me of how little air time I give to Go Go Penguin, even though I own two albums. I just never choose them.
The Ladies were a real treat as were mammal hands. Portico Quartet definitely has their own sound.

I make these “check later” playlists in spotify from my “discover weekly” suggestions. I put songs that has something interesting about them (be it vocals, sound, or just a catchy melody) into the playlist. I do this for later listening, and some leads to listening to more from the band/artist and some just get stuck in the playlist forever not getting played. When the playlist reaches 250-300 songs i start a new… I’m up to 4 such lists now…
Been listening through some of those songs lately and here is a few that stuck out tonight for various reasons
