Listening to tonight (Part 2)

Good morning, all. Got ahold of something very good, I think. It’s gonna be an interesting evening.

A trip down memory lane. The 70’s seem like a century ago.

Yeah lots of fun back then… Nearly half a century now to be exact…

But it feels SO long ago!
I turned 62 yesterday.

The drummer Tal Bergman toured with Joe quite a bit.
I like this direction Bonamassa is heading with this band, more jazz funk without him singing and definitely not blues oriented like much of his other recordings.
Never really liked Joe’s voice… All their tracks are very good. I’ll likely get the CD.

I got on a little roll listening to the ‘Protocol’ series of albums from Simon Phillips in chronological order.
This is the latest one released this past February.

Yup I’ve got all the Protocol albums in my library. First on Spotify. Now on Amazon Music.

I enjoy watching Simon play & his drums always sound fantastic.

I was listening to some Foo Fighters on OG Mangrid Tea, and really reminded why I love that IEM so much, nothing is too forward, so you can get every bit of the music.

Also Dave Grohl should be the poster child for 90s Rock and Roll, twice inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, drums for Nirvana, guitar and vocals for Foo Fighters.
