Convincing my pal here buying the Teas

The Teas are special. Everytime I take off my Lands and grab my Teas, I notice a difference. But then I remember they costed me 230€ and I smile like a fucking kid and queue some classic records

Price to performance is too good to pass, even if we get better IEM sets it’s still hold a special place

Exactly. Thats why I went a different signature on my first tribid, so I can come back to them and simply enjoy. Gotta love everything about this set.

A thought just occurred to me and piqued my curiosity, which was sparked by youtube putting Dan’s Aria review with sound demos comparing the Aria with the Xenns UP.

For those that have both the Xenns UP and the Tea how do the two compare in terms of things like clarity, resolution and detail retrieval? Is there a significant difference or are they comparable?

Genuinely curious And totally not just jitteryexcited to try the Tea out and buy it next weekend hopefully

Gaaaaah, hearing things like that is starting to make me consider blind buying the Tea right out once the shop gets them.

Yeah, they have special powers.

As I said in another thread, they always make me smile when I put them on, specially for 300 bucks. They are an easy rec to give, because they are great but also dont offend anyone.

My only complaint about them would be the treble (bass I csn live with). But thats personal and for most of the people, that treble will be perfect - and to upgrade it you’d have to into tribids, since BAs will kill your ears, and this is coming from a treblehead.

Easy end of the road for some people. If I’d have stopped on the teas, I would havent missed that much. Once you pass the 500usd mark, Teas leave the podium, but still compete.

Be careful with Tea, the quality is not good. Many people complain that the dynamic driver stops working, I didn’t believe it until it happened to me too! I have had Tea for 2 months, I have been listening to music for about 20-30 hours with them and the right dynamic driver has stopped working. Now I return them for replacement !!!

Lol, get a replacement, its under warranty. First time I hear about it tho, sorry for your loss.

Goodbye.

What would Be a real upgrade from the Teas? I’ve been reading and thinking about Thieaudio Monarch at the 700usd budget…

What do you guys think about it? Any other sugestions?

If you want
Monarch type sound the Vatiations are similar. The Iracle and Clair are an upgrade in similar brackets. I have been and audiophile for years and from experience the improvement most likely be huge

Will not be huge

I’d go Variations or Oracle and save some bucks.

Oracle takes 2 months to ship tho.

Mine was a lot faster :smirk:

I wonder how that was possible?

Sharing the same advice just corroborates that it’s not one person’s opinion. Can’t understand why you questioned a confirmation of your views?

I would also go with Oracle as an upgrade from Tea… it’s really a great set if you don’t mind waiting more or less 2 months for delivery (afaik same as Monarch).

Finally received my set of the teas.

After an initial 3 hour dog walk and listen.

AAAAAAAAHHH dangit dangit dangit!

So little update on my situation for going and trying out the Tea…So the seller I talked to said that he had 3 units coming in and 2 were already marked as sold. Just talked with him for an update and they only got 2 units. Hard to tell if it was just a miscommunication between them and Mangird but that’s probably it. So welp! Gonna have to wait until the next batch of units arrive to give them a try or just go and pull the trigger already with a blind buy so I can get the Teas for sure.
