Natural upgrade single dynamic

interesting suggestion. thanks !

That is one iem I totally forgot. And it is right in your budget as well.

Also, you could consider the Etymotic ER2 series if you can handle the deep fit.

The JVC looks bass light but again… can’t know until trying.
The ER is single BA isn’t it?

Nope, the ER2 series is DD. the rest of the lineup is BA though.

I wouldn’t say it’s bass light but it’s definitely not a bass cannon.

The Jomo Haka is one that’s interested me for a while, just never got round to getting a set:

Opinions on either
TFZ No.3
or
Tripowin TC01
As more “fun/less boring” set to have with the Starfield even though they’re not necessarily a step up in resolution but might take the place of the KBEAR Diamond ?

Remove the NO.3 lol. All its good at is being a basshead set with its bass quantity. Everything else is pretty bad and it sounds very unnatural with its timbre and tonality.

Have you tried the TC01 ?

No I havent.

The Ibasso IT00 could be a viable DD for a more fun experience vs the Oxygen.

l have the IT00 as l mentioned ; ] It has some good qualities but the reduced treble area and lack of details/resolution is annoying.
ooff… l wish the Diamond wouldn’t have this annoying channel imbalance/moisture issue they suffer from… because they have a very nice overall character which is a good companion and contrast to the Starfield but alas…

oh right. Getting hard to keep track on everything lol.

Honestly I dont really know what else is available in the more budget range. I have left that area a while back.

If you already got a few stuff in that range. You might want to consider jumping to the 300 usd range, thats where I feel is the best spot in terms of sound and price.

You’re probably right!!
…by the way… listening with the it00 now and they’re ain’t bad!!!
I guess A B comparisons are indeed not always fair

Moving from one iem to another thats completely different will give you that impression.
